Ανακοινώθηκαν οι υποψηφιότητες των Βραβείων Όσκαρ 2019 με μια μεγάλη επιτυχία για την Ελλάδα. Το “The Favourite” του Γιώργου Λάνθιμου οδηγεί την κούρσα των φετινών Οscars με 10 υποψηφιότητες όσες έχει και το μεγάλο φαβορί “Roma” του Αλφόνσο Κουαρόν!
Η 91η Τελετή Βραβείων Όσκαρ θα διεξαχθεί στο θέατρο Dolby, στο Χόλιγουντ της Καλιφόρνια, στις 24 Φεβρουαρίου, με τη μετάδοσή του να έχει αναλάβει το ABC. Μετά την αποχώρηση του Kevin Hart από τον ρόλο του οικοδεσπότη και αφού οι πιο πρόσφατοι οικοδεσπότες, Seth MacFarlane, Ellen DeGeneres, Neil Patrick Harris, Chris Rock και Jimmy Kimmel, δεν δέχτηκαν να επιστρέψουν, η Ακαδημία αποφάσισε να μην έχει συγκεκριμένο σταρ για την υποδοχή, κι αντ’ αυτού θα έχει επιλεγμένους παρουσιαστές για τα διαφορετικά κομμάτια της Τελετής. Να σημειώσουμε πως τα Όσκαρ είχαν μείνει χωρίς οικοδεσπότη και το 1989.
